BREAKIN'NYC - Theater 555 Non Equity Auditions

Breakin’NYC is
seeking passionate and versatile NYC-based dancers in all hip-hop & street styles to join the cast of this Off-Broadway production. Auditions are open for various dance styles, including Breakers (BBoy/BGirl), Popping, Locking, House, Krump, Litefeet, Commercial Hip Hop, and Stepping & Body Percussion. Additionally, we are seeking an MC, DJ, and Beatboxer to bring the sounds of hip-hop to life on stage. Breakin'NYC is a journey through the heartbeat of Hip-Hop and street dancing, a battle of generations and coasts.

Audition Details:

• Audition Date: Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM

• Callback Date: Sunday, November 10, 2024

• Location: Theater 555 NYC, 555 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036

Compensation & Contract:

ALL ROLES
Rate: $500.00 - $900.00 / week
Total Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,500.00 for an estimated 5 weeks of work
Additional: Rehearsal rate: $20 per hour (min 4 hours); performance rate: $100 per show (4 to 6 shows per week).
