CENTERstage Productions announces open auditions for the musical comedy, Legally Blonde, with book by Heather Hach, and music & lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe & Nell Benjamin, Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. Directed by Emily Woolever with musical direction by Matthew Woolever and choreography by Jordan Stroly.

A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

Performance Dates: June 5-28, 2026. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30PM, Sundays at 2:30PM

Seeking: 32-36 adult performers (must be 18+) who can portray characters whose ages range from 20-55 with strong modern vocals. Formal dance training is not required, but the ability to move well is a must.

We strongly encourage women, persons of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals to audition. We are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of our work.

Prepare / Bring: Approximately 1 minute of a song you feel great singing, along with either sheet music for the accompanist or a track. No a capella auditions please.
