BECKY'S NEW CAR - The Theatre Group at SBCC Non Equity Auditions

THE THEATRE GROUP AT SBCC announces auditions for BECKY’S NEW CAR by Steven Dietz, directed by Katie Laris, February 27 & 28, by appointment in the Jurkowitz Theatre. Performances will be April 24-May 11, 2013 in the Jurkowitz Theatre.

Middle-aged Becky Foster has a decent life, a decent job at an auto dealership, a decent husband who’s a roofer and a decent son living in his parent’s basement many years past his teens. She’s just a bit tired of her life. Then one night a billionaire widower stops into the dealership and offers her a completely new lease on life and suddenly Becky’s life takes on a distinctly different tone. Often playful and sweet, at other moments poignant and painful, Becky’s New Car is a quirky romantic comedy that will keep you riveted to your seat with every hairpin turn.
