Classic American Tales (CAT) presents TALES AT THE DORMER HOUSE. This new company has taken on what had been presented by East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) for 33 years under the name 'Tales of the Victorians.'
To honor the 159th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, East Lynne Theater Company presents 'Gettysburg: One Woman's War,' two stories read by Michèle LaRue from Elsie Singmaster's moving 1913 classic book, 'Gettysburg: Stories of the Red Harvest and the Aftermath.'
On Monday, August 15 at 8:00 p.m., East Lynne Theater Company presents 'Little Women' adapted from Louisa May Alcott's enduring novel by producing artistic director, Gayle Stahlhuth, for fourteen actors, ages 11-17 to perform as part of ELTC's 16th Annual Summer Student Workshop.
Since Kurt Vonnegut (1922 – 2007), the author of 'Slaughterhouse-Five,' would have been 100 this year, the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is celebrating the occasion by offering three of his charming stories in 'Who Am I This Time? (& Other Conundrums of Love.)' Adapted by Aaron Posner, these humorous tales filled with heart take place in the small town of North Crawford, Connecticut in 1962.

On Thursday, December 10 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, East Lynne Theater Company presents 'Christmas Tales in the Backyard,' the company's 21st Thursday-outdoor-storytelling-event since mid-June. At the previous 'Tales' on November 5, when guests were asked if they wanted another 'Tales' in December, all hands went up.
Since April, East Lynne Theater Company has been presenting 'Tales at Home,' virtually, and 'Tales in the Backyard,' live, and for the holidays, its 'Yuletide Tales.'
The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents one of its most popular events, 'Poe by Candlelight,' outside, just in time for Halloween. The date is the same as previously scheduled, Saturday, October 24, but the time is now 5:30PM, and the location is West Cape May's Back Yard, 732 Broadway, behind the Fire Hall.
