Photo Flash: First Look at JACOB MARLEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL at Peterborough Players

By: Dec. 07, 2017

The classic holiday tale told from a new perspective the Peterborough Players present Jacob Marley'S CHRISTMAS CAROL. Follow Jacob Marley to the afterlife and back again in his attempt to redeem his former business partner. A story of renewal, sacrifice and ultimately the bonds that tie us all together. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

"Marley was dead, to begin with..."-and what happens to Ebenezer Scrooge's mean, sour, pruney old business partner after that? Chained and shackled, Marley is condemned to a hellish eternity. He's even given his own private tormentor: a malicious little hell-sprite who thoroughly enjoys his work. Desperate, Marley accepts his one chance to free himself: to escape his own chains, he must first redeem Scrooge. So begins a journey of laughter and terror, redemption and renewal, during which Scrooge's heart, indeed, is opened; but not before Marley-in this irreverent, funny, and deeply moving story-discovers his own. And in embracing the influences of the original story, the show will include classic Christmas Carols that have been arranged under the auspices of Musical Director Tom Frey.

Featuring a cast of Players favorites including Bridget Beirne, Tom Frey, Kraig Swartz and Jared Starkey and Directed by Charles Morey. Show is playing now through December 17, is co-sponsored by Atkins Callahan and is Rated PG. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm, with 2:00pm matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday.

Single tickets are $39, 3-Play Subscriptions are $180 and 6-ticket flex passes can be purchased for $204. All options are on sale now.
