Pinocchio, adapted and directed by Greg Banks, opens the 2026-2027 season at Children's Theatre Company. Five theatre painters use the tools of their trade—paint brushes, scaffolding, and wallpaper rolls—to stage a spontaneous retelling of Pinocchio's quest to become a "real boy." The production explores themes of empathy and accountability through a music-filled story that answers questions about Pinocchio's nose, his time inside a whale, and whether the good fairy will actually fly. The show runs on the UnitedHealth Group Stage and is recommended for ages 5 to 10.
