Celebrate St. Paul! The SPFA represents: Cinco De Mayo Fiesta, Flint Hills International Children's Festival, Grand Old Day, Saint Paul Sommerfest, Dragon Festival, Highland Fest?, Rice Street Festival, Irish Fair of Minnesota, Rheinfest on the Mississippi, Winter Carnival, PABA Fest, St. Paul Oktoberfest, Rondo Days and the White Bear Avenue Parade. These festivals bring nearly 1 million attendees to the St. Paul/East Metro area each year, and proceeds from these St. Paul Festivals are reinvested in the community.

Woodbury Community Theatre Changes Dates For NARNIA Musical, 6/29-7/1

Due to some scheduling conflicts, WCT has had to change the performance dates for Narnia. They will now be: June 29-July 1: 1-3pm (these student/senior matinees are the same as on the original flyer) July 9, 10 and 11: 7-9pm (these public performance times have changed; cast members need to be available from July 6-July 11 from 5:30pm to 10pm; these are NEW dates)
Auditions For Woodbury Community Theatre's NARNIA - THE MUSICAL ON 4/13 And 4/14

Woodbury Community Theatre will be holding open auditions for their summer production of Narnia ? the Musical, directed by Laurie Swigart. Auditions are open for youth ages 8 -18 as well as for adults to fill roles for this wonderful musical play featuring 10 males and 6 females, plus up to 12 extras to dramatize the various good/evil Narnian creatures. In addition to the on-stage roles, we are also looking for people to help with various behind-the-scene jobs such as set crew.

On Tuesday, April 21, Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) and Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will showcase the artistic talents of more than 300 students in the 18th annual Honors Concert and Art Exhibit. This exciting night of dance includes the world premieres of Medea Medea, a serio-comic rewriting of the Greek tragedy featuring the women of the company and guest artist Ananya Chatterjea; and De Bona Religione, a trio for three men by Eddie Oroyan, as part of Shapiro & Smith's mentor project. Two company favorites round out the evening, including A Moment Before (which premiered at the Southern in 2000), and a special performance featuring guest artist Carl Flink in the 20th anniversary remount of To Have and To Hold.
