Auditions For Woodbury Community Theatre's NARNIA - THE MUSICAL ON 4/13 And 4/14

Woodbury Community Theatre will be holding open auditions for their summer production of Narnia – the Musical, directed by Laurie Swigart. Auditions are open for youth ages 8 -18 as well as for adults to fill roles for this wonderful musical play featuring 10 males and 6 females,  plus up to 12 extras to dramatize the various good/evil Narnian creatures. In addition to the on-stage roles, we are also looking for people to help with various behind-the-scene jobs such as set crew.

Auditions will be held on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 from 6pm-9pm, with callbacks if necessary on Thursday, April 16. Interested people should come to auditions on either April 13 or 14 at Woodbury Baptist Church, 6695 Upper Afton Road, Woodbury, MN 55125.  Auditions will be held in "open audition" format. Please show up at 6:00pm on the audition day you choose and plan to stay until 9:00pm.

Please bring the following:

A short, prepared and memorized monologue with you to recite.
A picture of yourself that we can keep. It doesn’t need to be a professional headshot - simply something we can use to identify you with your application.
A schedule of conflicts that you would have during the rehearsal and performance schedule. To be cast, you will need to have as few conflicts as possible in your schedule.
Your homework or another activity to do, as there might be some free time as you wait to audition.

Rehearsal Times & Format - at Woodbury Baptist Church are as follows:

Tuesday, April 21: All cast, crew & parent meeting from 7-8:30pm
Thursday, April 23: All cast for read-through
Monday-Thursdays, May 18 –June 25 from 6pm to 10pm (a complete schedule will be given to all cast members on the first day of rehearsal)

Performances dates are as follows: June 26, 27 and 28 from 7:30-9:30pm and June 29, 30 and July 1 from 1-3:00pm.
