Barry Williams In The Neil Simon Classic THE ODD COUPLE

On May 25, the curtain will open on a new chapter for the Alhambra Theatre & Dining as veteran actor Barry Williams - aka Greg Brady of the famed 1970's TV series, The Brady Bunch - stars in the Alhambra's first-ever production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. Mr. Williams will play the lead role as Oscar Madison in the classic comedy.

The musical comedy with a big heart is the brainchild of playwright Mary Murfitt, with music and lyrics by Ms. Murfitt, a book by Betsy Howie, and musical arrangements by Mary Ehlinger. COWGIRLS plays preview performances June 8 and 9, with a press opening June 10 in the Keating Theatre. For its final play of the 2010-2011 theater season, the Valencia Character Company will present William Shakespeare's classic comedy, "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Showtimes are June 9-11 and June 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. and June 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theater at Valencia College's East Campus.

Caldwell Theatre Company announced a summer season that embraces diversity and theatricality. Embarking on the successful formula of summers past, they will open the summer season with a World Premiere by South Florida playwright Michael McKeever, and his comedic take on the famous Collyer Brothers of Harlem, titled Stuff. The comedy will be followed by a classically executed drama, Six Years, by the up and coming writer Sharr White.

The Waterfront Playhouse announced auditions for 'August: Osage County,' the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, which will be part of the 2011/12 season. Auditions will be held Tuesday, May 31, 5 to 8 pm at the Waterfront Playhouse. Production dates for the show are scheduled for December 20, 2011 to January 14, 2012, with rehearsals beginning sometime early November.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater's Artistic Director, Jim Helsinger, announced the final two plays of the Signature Series 2011-2012 Season. The regional premiere of God Of Carnage, Yasmina Reza's 2009 Tony Award-Winning comedy of grownups behaving badly will run from October 12 - November 13, 2011 in the Goldman Theater.
