Sands Youth Theater Company Hosts Auditions for Peter Pan May 23-25

Sands Youth Theater Company will hold open auditions for Peter Pan on May 23, 24, and 25 (Monday - Wednesday) at the Athens Theatre at 5:00-8:00pm. An additional Call Back Date is yet to be announced. The Athens Theatre is located at 124 N. Florida Avenue in Downtown DeLand.
Performances will be held on August 5, 6*, 7, 11, 12, 13*, 14* at the Athens. All shows start at 7:30pm except for Saturday and Sunday *Matinees at 2:30pm.First produced on Broadway with Mary Martin and Cyril Richard and more recently a major hit starring Cathy Rigby, this is one of the world's most celebrated musicals. Here is all the charm of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and children Wendy, Michael and John, pirates and Indians, embellished with show-stopping songs, "Never Never Land", "I Won't Grow Up" and "I'm Flying."We are looking for 50 youth between the ages of 9-20. Because of the versatility required, auditioners will be asked to read a monologue from the script in the various age categories.No appointments. Sign-ins are accepted starting at 5:00pm.Actors will be seen in the order in which they arrive. Callbacks will be announced.Videos
