Writers Block is an innovative online platform presented by the New Media Film Festival that celebrates the voices of writers, scheduled to take place during the festival on June 4-5, 2026. Spearheaded by Susan Johnston, the founder of the festival, and moderated by industry veteran Chuck Haifley, this dynamic session will spotlight script nominees across a variety of categories, fostering interaction and recognition for storytellers. Participants will have the chance to engage in a Q&A session and compete for unique awards, including opportunities with major studios like Marvel and HBO.
