The Seven Deadly Seas is a new rock musical written by Sarah Sturdevant that tells the love story between James and Margaret, a pirate and a princess. Their romance is threatened by Captain Dagon, the Devil's henchman, who makes Faustian bargains and twisted promises. The story is inspired by pirate films from the Golden Age of Hollywood and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, exploring themes of revenge, betrayal, good vs. evil, and freedom. This production is presented as part of Pacific Opera Project's POP Artist Recital Series in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
