The Hal Struck Musical Theatre Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts presents Steel Pier, a Tony Award-nominated musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb. Set during a marathon dance competition in the Great Depression, the story follows Rita Raccine as she navigates the choice between her past and a hopeful future. With a cast of over 50, the production features extensive dance choreography by Maddie Beanne Young and a captivating set designed by Will Chung. Ryan Miller serves as the conservatory director, emphasizing the importance of the ensemble in bringing this heartfelt tale to life.
