Smitten is a one-act psychological horror play written and directed by Lars Toler, featured in the Joy Who Lived festival. The story follows Dolly, a small-town waitress portrayed by Selene Nicholson, who becomes a target of a stalker after receiving unsettling anonymous letters and mysterious photos. As she grapples with her family's history of mental illness, those around her, including her boss Marlene (Dezi Bobbi) and best friend Margot (Amelia Priestley), begin to doubt the reality of her experiences. The ensemble cast also includes Victoria "Vix" Martins, Finn Holmgren, and several others, creating a tense atmosphere as the audience is left to decipher the truth alongside Dolly.
