In the encore staged reading of SOURCES at Bespoke Plays, Justin Lawrence Barnes and Elinor Gunn will explore the intersection of technology and journalism set against the backdrop of the 2016 election. The play, written by Ellie Pyle, follows a computer programmer and an investigative reporter as they discuss a powerful algorithm that threatens online anonymity. Directed by Stephanie Sheh, this production offers an intimate look at complex conflicts of interest and personal histories. This is a unique opportunity to witness the development of a new play that addresses timely themes in an engaging format.
