Perfect World at El Portal Theatre

Perfect World is a new musical that explores the true life of Barbara Follett, a gifted child author who created an imagined utopia called Farksolia by the age of 14. Set in the 1920s, the story follows her rise to fame and her mysterious disappearance at 25, intertwined with the search conducted by investigators. Featuring a cast that includes Gabbie Adner as Barbara, the production is directed and choreographed by Kay Cole, with music by Richard Winzeler and a libretto by Alan Edmunds. The show depicts the pressures faced by a young prodigy and the impact of her creative legacy.
