“Not Another Deaf Story” Opens 8/10 for Limited Run at the Group Rep

The Group Rep and Worldplay, Inc. present NOT ANOTHER DEAF STORY by Hilari Scarl, with stories by company members of NOT ANOTHER DEAF STORY, directed by Hilari Scarl and Monique Holt. In an isolated cabin in the woods, an evening of scary stories among friends is disturbed by a spectral presence that takes us on a frighteningly funny, phantasmagorical journey!

This groundbreaking original multimedia theatrical experience was devised entirely in American Sign Language by an ensemble of Deaf actors and artists.  This developmental production invites the audience on an extraordinary ASL-centric adventure exploring our deepest fears through story, film, dance and music. Performances will be made accessible by voicing actors for all audiences to enjoy.  

Performances are August 10 – August 13. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm.  General Admission $35. Seniors & Students with I.D. $30.
