Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown at Davidson/Valentini Theatre

Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown is an award-winning solo comedy written and performed by Joe Hutcheson, making its Los Angeles debut at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The play tells the story of a Southern debutante who chokes to death on a pork rib and finds herself inhabiting the body of a gay, middle-aged New Yorker on his way to Provincetown, MA. Once the two get to know each other, Miss Beaumont helps Joe come to terms with darker voices inside him. This newly updated and revised version previously earned awards at the New York International Fringe Festival 2010, the Cincinnati Fringe Festival 2011, and the Fresh Fruit Festival 2013, and was a recent selection for the Spark Theatre Festival in NYC.
