Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán returns to The Soraya celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a concert titled El Grito, honoring the traditional call to arms against Spanish rule on the eve of Sep 16, 1810. The all-new program features music evoking Mexican pride under the direction of vocalist and violinist Carlos Martínez. This performance marks the ensemble's 129th anniversary and the opening of The Soraya's Hecho en Las Américas Series.
