Los Mirlos headlines the fifth annual Live at The Music Center, a free outdoor concert held on Jerry Moss Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles. Founded in the Peruvian Amazon in 1973 by Jorge Rodríguez Grández, Los Mirlos are the founding architects of cumbia amazónica, blending electric guitar, Andean pentatonic melody, Afro-Caribbean percussion, and psychedelic jungle influences. The performance follows the global release of the band's landmark collaborative album THE WORLD MEETS LOS MIRLOS, featuring artists including Juanes, Bomba Estéreo, 311, Los Bunkers, and Monsieur Periné, among others. Musical Director Jorge Luis Rodríguez Pérez leads the band, which in 2025 became the first Peruvian act to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
