Jimi Darkness: Alcoholic Superhero at Three Clubs (Three Clubs Stage Room)

Jimi Darkness: Alcoholic Superhero is a darkly comic original rock musical written and composed by James Byous in which a crime-fighting kung fu superhero can only access his powers when he drinks alcohol. The production blends superhero mythology, addiction recovery, punk-rock spectacle, and emotional vulnerability as Jimi battles AA meetings, a relentless sponsor, toxic relationships, and a supernatural threat known as Mr. Nemesis. The show stars James Byous as Jimi Darkness, Michael Thomas Grant as Joe, and Dionne Gipson as Hannah, with additional performances by Faydean Kielty, Lilli Simerman, Seth Hale, and Maeve Riley. Directed by Patrick Mulvey, with music direction by Stein Malvey and choreography by Amy Ryerson, the production explores addiction, identity, and redemption through explosive rock music and live-band energy.
