HYSTERICAL at Skiptown Playhouse

HYSTERICAL, written, devised, and performed by Jackie Skinner, is a clown thriller presented as part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival at Skiptown Playhouse in Los Angeles. A woman has been performing in this room for years, usually to nobody — tonight the audience is there, and she's been waiting to find out why. The show opens with warmth and humor and slowly reveals the darkness underneath, with audience interaction throughout. Skinner's previous work Jackie and Allison Into the Multiverse won Best Comedy and Sell Out Award at the 2025 NYC Fringe and was praised by The Boston Globe for "elevating absurdity to art."
