HOT SUMMER NIGHTS - THE MUSICALS (2026) is a festival of six world premiere one-act musicals produced by Write Act Repertory's Producing Artistic Director John Lant and Producer Darrin Yalacki. The works are written and directed by Susan C. Hunter, David Lvov, Helema Maggiore, Chris McGriff, Dmitry Parkhomchuk, and Darrin Yalacki. The cast includes Olive Banny, Maggie Borgen, Eric V Crumley, Jeron Devonte, Isa Fuller, Joshua Gill, Christina Giordano, Cate Harbin, Christine Hughes, Ann Li, Alyssa Lomosad, Naledi Miga, Linda Nile, Gilad Nilo, Teni Oduntan, Jack Sweeney, and Anthony Zermeno. The five featured one-acts are Another Time, A Hot Mess, Embrace the Cringe, Real ID, and The Disappearance of Norman Crabbe, with performances running approximately 100 minutes with intermission.
