Baby Eyeballs is a solo performance written and performed by Anwar Ali, directed by Roger Q. Mason, premiering at the Hollywood Fringe Festival during Pride Month. The show follows Luce, a fictionalized recent cancer survivor trapped inside a surreal internal world populated by movies, fantasies, and fractured reflections of selfhood as they attempt to outrun painful memories. Blending dark comedy, chemo-induced satire, and radical healing, the production explores queer health, chronic illness, grief, and survival through child-like imagination and pop culture fantasy. The production features original sound design by David Gonzalez and is produced by Philicia Saunders and Oscar Gutierrez.
