Celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month, Experience The Hit Broadway Musical RENT!LAS VEGAS (June 7, 2022) Tony & Emmy Award Nominated Broadway in the HOOD in partnership with The Center of Southern Nevada is proud to present the smash-hit Broadway Musical RENT, in honor of the Stonewall Riots of 1969! For a quarter of a century, Jonathan Larsons RENT has inspired us to choose love over fear and to live without regret. This Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning phenomenon follows a year in the lives of a diverse group of artists and friends struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. RENT become more than a musical its a cultural touchstone, a rite of passage, a source of joy and strength for millions. It has become a part of us forever, and here is your chance to experience RENT like never before! Broadway in the HOODs immersive production of RENT features a local cast of bright, up-and-coming actors, singers, and dancers that are honored to tell Jonathan Larson's story through the lens of Generation Z! I am thrilled to welcome the Southern Nevada community to enjoy this masterpiece at The Center. After a long-awaited return to live theater, it is an honor to host Broadway in the HOODs premier of RENT with its amazing cast of local talent. We cant wait to see everyone at The Center, says John Waldron, CEO of The Center.Come join us at our interactive pre-show The Life Cafe. This will open 1-hour prior to each scheduled performance. The Life Cafe will consist of live singing, dancing, karaoke, a special art gallery, HIV testing, spoken word, prizes, giveaways and more! RENT will play at the Center from June 28 - July 4, 2022.
