Naomi Shemer's life story is the story of this country. In a new musical, we meet Naomi at four junctions in her life, where she is required to fight for her personal and professional future.
The musical is studded with songs she wrote and composed and first sketches the image of Shemer not as a national myth but as it really was: a complex, groundbreaking feminist, a woman who was not afraid to make her voice, who managed to live peacefully between the kibbutz and Tel Aviv, between art and Zionism, between the private man: the funny, The witty and hot - to the woman who is bigger than the songs.
