Ali Baba and the forty thieves is a musical adventure with slapstick Humor and a meaningful adaptation of the original story, from the 1001 Arabian Nights.
Ali Baba is a young boy who lives with his brother Kassim married to Gulbahar. One day Ali Baba, who is a woodcutter, discovers the secret of the forty thieves, entering a cave full of treasure. But as his brother Kassim comes to know about the gold in the cave, he becomes greedy and rushes to get all the treasure of the cave for himself. But alas! he is caught! Now the chief of the thieves decides to kill Ali Baba too, but Ali's faithful slave- girl Morgina foils their plan. Chief of the thieves now make a dangerous plan to finish Ali's entire family. How the events take place in Ali baba's life one after the other and how Morgina protects her master, is an interesting musical journey in itself. Will Morgina succeed in saving her Master Ali Baba again? Ali Baba, will he be able to save his brother Kasim? Will the 40 thieves succeed in killing both the brothers?
