The Sarah and Ernest Butler Houston Grand Opera Studio presents its annual Butler Studio Showcase, featuring twelve emerging artists in fully staged, costumed scenes spanning the opera repertory. This year's program includes selections from Das Rheingold, La bohème, Eugene Onegin, L'amico Fritz, Don Carlo, and The Flying Dutchman. Performers include Alissa Goretsky, Elizabeth Hanje, Scarlett Jones, Lauren Randolph, Misael Corralejo, Luka Tsevelidze, Geonho Lee, Tzvi Bat Asherah, Sam Dhobhany, Ziniu Zhao, Maeve Berry, and Tzu Kuang Tan. For nearly 50 years, HGO's Butler Studio has served as a launching pad for many of opera's most exciting careers.
