APPOINTMENTS

Audition sign-ups will be on a 1st come, 1st served basis on the morning of the audition. Sign-ups will begin at 9:30am. If you are unable to attend these auditions, you may submit a video submission after 12/5 at: TheatreAtTheWelk.auditions@gmail.com.

Please prepare a song in the style of the show. Accompanist will be provided. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

Santa Claus: The venerable man in red who is busily preparing for Christmas Eve and doesn’t have much time for 8-year-old Pat who has traveled to the North Pole to interview him. 40s-60s. Strong singer and comic.

Mrs. Claus: Sweet and hilarious. A perfect ambassador for the North Pole. 40s-60s. Strong singer and comic.

Grandma: Pat’s chaperone to the North Pole. Pragmatic and skeptical whose shell is melted by the magic of Christmastown. 40s-70s. Strong singer. Comic skills a plus.

Pat: Bright-eyed 8-year-old who wins an essay contest and his prize is a trip to the North Pole to interview Santa himself. Strong singer with movement skills. Male presenting.

Dad: An urban father who is too busy to accompany his son to interview Santa. 30s-40s. Stong singer and dances.

Ensemble (10): 10 performers who are versatile singers and excellent dancers. Will play multiple roles from city dwellers to North Pole denizens.
