SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in THE RETURN.

SYNOPSIS

THE RETURN is a one-act, 70-minute play that starts simply with two people meeting in an auto-body shop in the mid-sized city Herzliya. They might or might not have known each other in the past. One of them is Palestinian, one of them is Israeli Jewish, and by the end of the play, both of their lives will be changed forever by the realities that surround them.

SEEKING:

HER: Late 30s to early 40s, white. Intelligent, with a depth that reflects her experience. She has traveled extensively, is fearless, and willing to take risks.
HIM: Late 30s to early 40s, a person of color. Sharp, focused, composed and humble, avoiding negative stereotypes of an Arab man. Ideally clean-shaven, with no facial hair.
