THE DEATH OF DESERT ROSE
SYNOPSIS: In a stylized, cinematic 1890s Colorado, notorious bounty hunter “Desert Rose” Ramsey is famous for her vigilante justice and alliance with the town Sheriff. But when a mysterious new dime novel whips the town into a frenzy with a powerful prophecy, it puts Rose on a collision course with her arch nemesis – “Betty Britches” McBain – in her most personal bounty yet.
With the Sheriff by her side, Rose embarks on a pulp-filled, heart-pounding journey, racing against the clock to find Betty, unravel the threads of their shared past with the infamous Bannermen outlaw band, and discover how both women can write the end of the story together – before it’s too late. As deals turn sour, friends get hurt, and an inescapable destiny looms large, Rose and Betty learn the true cost of doing what they think is right.
The Death of Desert Rose is a new, epic Western – a tale of outlaw heists, young love, dangerous promises, and hard-won new beginnings.
FEMALE IDENTIFYING ENSEMBLE: Ensemble plays GIRL, various townspeople, bar patrons, and more.
