Due to the postponement of the 2020 season, Tuacahn is fully cast for the 2021 mainstage season with the exception of the roles listed in School of Rock. Please check back for information regarding auditions for Million Dollar Quartet and A Christmas Story.

BREAKDOWN
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
If auditioning for Dewey Finn, please prepare a rock song in the style of or from the show that shows range and personality, as well as a demonstration of basic guitar playing skills.
If auditioning for ANY of the youth roles, please submit a video singing a short selection of a song of your choice in the style of or from the show OR singing “If Only You Would Listen” with the provided MP3. (MP3 can be found at
https://www.tuacahn.org/auditions/.)
If auditioning for a youth role that plays an instrument, please submit a video playing the required instrument. All youth roles are ages 9-12 and shorter than 5’2”. Your height will be measured if you receive a callback.
SEEKING:
[DEWEY FINN] Mid 20s-30s. Any ethnicity. A true powerhouse original. High rock tenor to an E; great comedic skills-improv a plus, basic solo guitar skills a MUST. Possible crossover into The Count of Monte Cristo which runs in repertory. PRINCIPAL
[TOMIKA] age 9-12, under 5’2”, African-American. New to the school, Tomika struggles to make friends despite her two Dads’ pushing her forwards. Tomika barely speaks until she finally summons the courage to open her mouth and sing out, so we have to be blown away by her sound. Pop/Rock Singer who moves well. Also seeking an understudy.
