SAM: a snowman (Male, Open Ethnicity, 30s-50s)

A powerful, wise storyteller who never gets in the way of the story he’s telling. A knowing sense of humor; an appealing, warm, singing voice.

SANTA CLAUS: (Male, Open Ethnicity, 40s-60s)

Larger than life personality; cheerful but distracted. Agelessly youthful, but should read middle- aged. Physically thinner than traditional images of Santa.Strong singing voice.

YUKON CORNELIUS: a prospector (Male, Open Ethnicity, 35-45)

A physical presence. Tall or large build prefered. Instantly likable character; slightly absent minded; physically agile and strong comedic ability. Doublesas COACH COMET (physically agile, coach like qualities, leader, paternal).

DONNER: Rudolph’s father (Male, Open Ethnicity, late 20s-40s)

A great father. Patriarichal. Proud of his family and legacy of sleigh pulling. Is hopeful that his

son will also be a sleigh pulling deer, encourages him

MRS. DONNER: Rudolph’s Mother (Female, Open Ethnicity, late 20s-40s)

Warm and maternal, soft-spoken, quietly strong. She is a great mother and wife. She always wants what is best for her son. Warm Mezzo voice. Doublesas a SNOKEN (ensemble track for various characters).

MRS. CLAUS: Claus’ wife (Female, Open Ethnicity, 30s-60s)

Feisty, matter of fact, inherently warm. She is a supportive wife and a loving caregiver to all of

Christmastown. A strong belter. Doubles as a SNOKEN (ensemble track for various characters).

BOSS ELF: (Male, Open Ethnicity, 30s-50s)

Humorless manager of the elves’ workshop; Strict Leader; innate comic sensibility. Also doubles as BLITZEN, KING MOONRACER (King of the misfit toys,strong, decisive personality, physically agile), and a SNOKEN(ensemble track for various characters).

CHARLIE-IN-THE-BOX / LEAD SNOKEN B: (Male, Open Ethnicity, 20s-30s)

Sentry of Misfit Island. He wants nothing more than to have a child to play with. Seeking great character actors. This role witll also be a featured ensembleactor.
