OPERA COLUMBUS TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR 2012-13 SEASON ON SEPTEMBER 9 & 23
Opera Columbus will hold auditions for the 2012-13 season on Sunday, September 9, and Sunday, September 23, at the Ohio Theatre from 3-9pm each day. To schedule an audition, interested parties should contact Opera Columbus Director of Artistic and Educational Programming Peggy Kriha Dye at
pkrihadye@operacolumbus.org.
Each auditionee will be asked to perform two pieces (one in English) and provide a headshot and resume. A pianist will be provided. Opera Columbus asks for an audition fee of $5 to cover the cost for the pianist and room rental.

In addition, Opera Columbus will embark on a new collaboration with Shadowbox Live called Opera Cabaret, an innovative, new program designed to take opera out of a traditional theatre setting and transform it into an immersive, interactive, and highly accessible experience in a casual environment:
