Equity actors for roles in THE CIVILITIES. FSC encourages participation by performers of all races and ethnicities.

BLESSAH HART (Female, 20s, African American). A young graduate student studying the narratives of white confederates living in the North. Blessah is forthright, strong and opinionated. In spite of her youth, she is determined to get the answers she is seeking.

M. SILAS JACKSON — ROLE HAS BEEN CAST. (Male, 50s–60s, Caucasian). Civil War veteran and poet. Confederate living in the North for 60 years and carrying a family secret.
