MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

SEEKING:

ELVIS PRESLEY - 20 to 35 years old, man. Excellent singer and guitar player. The first and still undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll at the beginning of his career. A good singer/guitar player and be able to embody the spirit of Elvis Presley without being an impersonator. Familiarity with Elvis' music is a plus.

JOHNNY CASH - 20 to 35 years old, man. Excellent guitar player and singer. A giant of American music at the dawn of his epic career. A good singer/guitar player and be able to embody the spirit of Johnny Cash without being an impersonator. Familiarity with Johnny Cash's music is a plus.

JERRY LEE LEWIS - 20 to 30 years old, man. Excellent piano player and singer. Rock ‘n’ Roll’s legendary piano prodigy and celebrated Last Man Standing. Energetic and ambitious. Physical resemblance is less of a priority with this character. A superb piano player/singer who embodies the spirit of Jerry Lee Lewis.

CARL PERKINS - 25 to 35 years old, man. Excellent guitar player (lead guitar) and singer. The first poet of Rock ‘n’ Roll. He was the American pioneer of rockabilly music and best known for his song “Blue Suede Shoes”. Physical resemblance is less of a priority with this character. A superb guitar player/singer who embodies the spirit of Carl Perkins.

DYANNE - 20 to 35 years old, woman. An aspiring singer and Elvis’ girlfriend; ahead of her time, smart and assertive, she’s a great singer with a wide range.

SAM PHILLIPS - 30 to 50 years old, man. The Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll and founder of Sun Records; discovered Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and many others, including Roy Orbison and B.B. King; a towering and charismatic figure in American music.
