Equity Chorus Call procedures are in effect. AEA Member sign-up list will be posted at the AEA Audition Center at 9:30 AM on Monday, January 21, 2013, and removed at 5 PM on Friday, January 25th, 2013. The AEA Monitor will read out the list at 9:30 AM on audition day. Those on the list must be present with their current Equity cards when their names are called. Members who cannot sign the list must check in with the Monitor by 2 PM on audition day in order to guarantee being seen. Children who are not Members of Actors' Equity Association (AEA) are welcome to attend, and will be seen after AEA Members.
If auditioning for Michael, please prepare a brief, comedic or up-tempo song that shows personality. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Also please bring tap shoes
Those auditioning for Small Boy need not prepare anything for the audition

Seeking the following ensemble positions only at this call for the touring company. Note: This call is for children only. Equity calls for adult roles and chorus positions are held separately by another casting office.
Michael:
Principal character. Age 9 – 12, any ethnicity. Maximum height 4’10’’. Billy's friend. Funny, not eager to please, a real kid. Seeking a natural actor with a strong singing voice. Must tap.
Small Boy: Age 5–7, any ethnicity. Height should be 3’7”. Ensemble character. Boy in Billy's town. Endearing, natural, real. Requirements: Ability to listen on stage, take direction, concentrate, not fidget. Not a “showbiz” kid.
