SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in BELFAST GIRLS (see breakdown).

All performers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by the CDC by the first rehearsal as a condition of employment.


INSTRUCTIONS

SEE PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS IN BREAKDOWN. Please email the video link in a streaming format (Vimeo, Google Drive, etc.) with the subject line: BELFAST GIRLS EPA – FULL NAME. Do not attach full video files or send download links (ie, WeTransfer, YouSendIt, etc). Include your headshot and resume either within the link (if using GoogleDrive or Dropbox, etc) or attached to the email (being mindful of file size). Indicate Union status and role you are most interested in the body of the email.

Please prepare a short contemporary monologue. At the top of the video, please slate your name and height.

If you are using an iPhone to video record, please be sure to film horizontally and in a well-lit space (not backlit).

BELFAST GIRLS

Judith Noone (20s -30s, Black / Mixed Race) Born in Jamaica, raised in Ireland. Belfast dialect. Determined, passionate, resourceful, a leader.

Ellen Clarke (20s-30s, any ethnicity) Born and raised in Ireland. Belfast dialect. Sensitive, compassionate, reliable.

Hannah Gibney (20s-30s, any ethnicity) Born and raised in Ireland (Sligo). Irish dialect. A great singer, Hannah is tough, bighearted/full of life/but inwardly very damaged.

Molly Durcan (late teens -early 20s, any ethnicity) Born and raised in Ireland (Sligo). Irish dialect. Sensitive, optimistic, idealistic. Full of hope and encouraging of others.

Sarah Jane Wylie (20s-30s, any ethnicity) Born and raised in Ireland (Louth). Irish dialect. wily, deceptive, righteous, her tendency to bitterness masks a broken heart.
