Theatre Aspen Expands Food Service at the Hurst; Hosts BeerCRUSH at 8/1 Performance of THE FULL MONTY

Theatre Aspen announces expanded lobby hours as well as exciting food offerings at the Hurst Theatre. Located in the beautiful setting of the John Denver Sanctuary in Rio Grande Park, Theatre Aspen's concession area is now open throughout the day offering gourmet, pre-packaged items daily (closed Sundays). In partnership with local chef Mawa McQueen, of Mawa's Kitchen, visitors can enjoy healthy snack boxes in the theatre's open air lobby or picnic outside in and around the Rio Grande Park. Food items include charcuterie platters, salads, a Mediterranean sampler and other small meals. Mawa's Kitchen is available for "pop-up" dinners at the tent for groups wishing to cater a meal prior to a Theatre Aspen performance. Group ticket discounts would apply.

FAC's Youth Repertory Ensemble to Present APPLAUSE

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 9th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction. The awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. Bravo! Vail and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra today jointly announced a three-year extension of the Orchestra's annual summer residency from 2016 to 2018. The current contract expires in 2015. The Dallas Symphony had initially performed at Bravo! Vail from the summers of 2000-2006, and, after a brief two-year absence, returned in 2009 under the direction of their new music director, Jaap van Zweden.

Vail today announced that Colorado Public Radio Classical (CPR Classical) will broadcast six concerts from their 2014 "SummerFest" concert series to listeners across Colorado, including concerts featuring pianist Helene Grimaud and The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Music Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin on July 12, and pianist Yefim Bronfman and the New York Philharmonic conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert on July 19.
