The Dance Connection

The Dance Connection (TDCEH) has taught at 190 Main Street in East Haven, Connecticut since the late 1950s, serving families across New Haven County and the Connecticut shoreline including Branford, Guilford, Madison, North Haven and Hamden. Classes run from age 16 months through adult and cover ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and creative dance, plus stretch, jump and turn conditioning. Preschool and toddler programs focus on rhythm and creative movement; youth recreational classes cover ages 5 to 11; and teen and adult open-level drop-in classes are available without a full-year commitment. Recreational and pre-professional students begin in the same beginner classes, taught by faculty certified through Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. The TDCEH Juliano Dance Company is the competitive pre-professional track, directed by Sandee Juliano. The studio also runs an all-boys dance crew, summer programs and offers scholarships and financial assistance.
