Company 'N Tempo Theatre and Dance Center at 211 Shunpike Road, Suite 8, Cromwell, Connecticut has operated since 1989 and runs theatre, dance and music programs. Youth dance begins with preschool classes for ages 2-5 (Mini Movers, Preschool I and II), moves to Ballet/Tap and Hip Hop for ages 5-7, and from age 7 offers Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop and Acro, with Pointe added for approved older students taking both Technique and Ballet. There is a separate Technique ballet class that does not perform at year end. A competition program requires students to also take the matching non-competition class, and solos, duets and trios are accommodated. The center also offers fitness and wellness classes for ages 9 to adult, year-round adult dance including occasional ballroom, and private lessons. Visitors may tour the studio or arrange a trial class by phone.
