Neighborhood Dance teaches dance and musical theatre from two studios in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina, in Mooresville and Cornelius. Its stated aim is developing the next generation of creative thinkers: students experience the complete creative process, grounded in ballet, jazz, modern and tap technique, and move into the roles of creator and performer as their training progresses. Provision runs from Pre-K classes through to adults, and includes hip hop, musical theatre, private lessons and birthday parties. The studio fields competitive teams through its Encore Dance Company, runs a summer session and a Spring Fling short session, and delivers performing arts programs for local schools.
