About this studio
Dance Power Studio is a small neighborhood dance school in Secaucus, New Jersey, based at 812 Second Street in the lower level of the Church of Our Saviour. It teaches children from age two and a half upward, placing dancers by age, grade and experience so that each student is comfortable and confident. The program starts with Tiny Tots, a 45-minute music and movement class for ages 2.5 to 4, then Combination Tap pairing beginner tap with beginner jazz for ages 4 and 5. Older students progress through ballet from kindergarten, tap from first grade, jazz/hip hop and a separate boys' hip hop class from second grade, and musical theatre combining singing, dancing and acting from third grade, with Ballet I and II for dedicated dancers from fourth grade. New students may try one class free after submitting a registration form, and private lessons are available to eligible students.
