About this studio
Dance Houston is a Houston, Texas non-profit that creates, performs and presents dance in service to the community, working with dancers who specialize in a wide range of cultural and concert styles. Its programs include educational residencies, master classes, wedding dance services, a Fitbreak workout and at-home dance games, and it books performers by style for events. Represented styles span aerial and specialty acts, Brazilian, African and Caribbean, Asian, Indian and Bollywood, Middle Eastern, Spanish flamenco, ballet folklorico, European folk, ballroom, tango and salsa, disco, country and swing, hip hop and breakdance, and contemporary, jazz, ballet and tap. It also awards student scholarships and runs free community programs.
