About this studio
The Conservatory of Dance in Manistee, Michigan says its mission is to provide a safe place for students to perfect the art of dance while learning life skills, with a family-like atmosphere. It teaches ballet, jazz, tap, Irish, lyrical, contemporary, modern, pointe, hip hop, acrobatics and musical theatre, with levels from Mommy and Me and age 3 creative movement through high school groupings, plus adult classes. Both recreational and pre-professional paths are supported, and the studio says former students have gone on to Broadway, professional companies, film and television. The audition-only Conservatory of Dance Company performs solos and group pieces at competitions for a score and attends conventions. Free trial classes can be booked.
