Classic Ballroom

Classic Ballroom Dance Studio is at 6 Hastings Square Mall in Hackettstown, New Jersey, teaching ballroom and Latin dance under the motto "Be Classic, Do Ballroom." Lessons are offered to students dancing solo as well as to couples, with instructors meeting each student at their current level and progressing them from social foundation work through gold and open syllabus material in styles including Waltz, Cha Cha and Hustle. Alongside its ballroom instruction the studio runs a Ballet for Ballroom class on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, taught by Teresa Krueger, who has more than 30 years of experience as a ballet instructor; the class covers basic ballet actions aimed at improving dancers' poise, posture, balance and strength, and is charged per session or by class card. Morning aerobic exercise and yoga sessions with instructors Nancy Tullo and Liz Peck run several days a week at each participant's own pace. The studio also hosts social events such as an annual Winter Gala with dinner and student performances.
