Chattanooga Ballet

Chattanooga Ballet (CHA Ballet) is the only professional ballet company in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with its main studio and offices at 817-B N Market Street and annex studios at 607 N Market Street. The company works with recognized choreographers from around the country on a repertoire spanning classical, contemporary and modern genres, and says no other dance company in the city offers audiences the same level of technique and artistry or gives dancers and choreographers comparable professional opportunities. Its school provides ballet training for dancers of all ages, starting from age three, with the aim of building the foundations of a ballet education and inspiring a lasting passion for dance. Through its Making Moves enrichment program, run in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, The Bethlehem Center and the City of Chattanooga, the organization introduces children to ballet with classes built around focus, health and artistic exploration. Chattanooga Ballet is a 501(c)(3) charity, an ArtsBuild Community Arts Partner supported by the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, and also offers Gyrotonic training.
