Centerstage Performing Arts Academy

CenterStage Performing Arts Academy has been part of the Gallatin, Tennessee community for over twenty-five years, offering education and practical experience in dance, music and theatre. Its stated mission is to educate, encourage and inspire students through high-quality performing arts training, with an emphasis on real 'on the job' preparation delivered with kindness. CenterStage Academy of Ballet is a certified Cecchetti method school, teaching ballet across ten levels plus pre-pointe, pointe, men's ballet and partnering. Nine further levels cover tap, clog, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern and improvisation, acrojazz, ballroom, musical theatre, creative movement and dancing in heels. The En Flight circus program teaches aerial hammock and long silks and is described as the first aerial studio in Sumner County. The academy also runs four theatre productions a year, acting and improvisation classes, a group vocal performance class, private music lessons, summer camps, recitals, a Tiny Toes session for young children, adult classes and a chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
