Our Broadway at the Bass season, nicknamed "I Love Broadway!," will feature the regional premiere of I Love Lucy Live on Stage, a time warp that puts you in the audience, circa 1952, during the taping of two of the sitcom's most well-known episodes. Other powerhouses for the Broadway season include the Bass Hall debut of the Tony Award-winning hit Jersey Boys; Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical; Stomp; American Idiot; the first national tours ofGhost The Musical and Nice Work if You Can Get It; Menopause The Musical; and the return of the Blue Man Group.

That was Winston Churchill's take on the game of golf, an opinion which might be shared by several top competitors at the recent US Open. Nevertheless, golf remains an obsession for many amateurs, and competition in inter-country club tourneys can be fierce. But nowhere is there a competition with more comedic punch than in Ken Ludwig's riotous farce, The Fox on the Fairway, beginning a 6-week run at Stage West on Friday, July 5. The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston hosted Jaston Williams, of GREATER TUNA fame, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 for two command performances of BLAME IT ON VALENTINE, TEXAS. BLAME IT ON VALENTINE, TEXAS, one of four one-man shows crafted by Jaston Williams, had its World Premiere on February 14, 2009 at the Lubbock Civic Center Theater as a benefit for Lubbock Community Theater. To create the show, he pulled several of his autobiographical vignettes from I'M NOT LYING and COWBOY NOISES. He also wrote a new piece, "The Screaming Part of China."
