Legacy Theatre extends its run of Sweeney Todd due to popular demand, marking a significant moment in its five-year history. The Stephen Sondheim musical premiered with a preview on August 7, followed by its official opening on August 8, and has received enthusiastic audience reactions. The cast features Karl Gasteyer as Sweeney Todd and Stephanie Stiefel Williams as Mrs. Lovett, among others. The production will now conclude on August 31, with additional performances added to accommodate strong ticket demand.
